The Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (HKIFA) today announced the appointment of Paula Ip as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Ms. Ip is a veteran investment leader with over 30 years of experience in asset management and wealth advisory. She has held senior roles at leading international financial institutions, including UBS, GAM, ING, and J.P. Morgan (Chase) Asset Management. Most recently, she served as Managing Director at UBS AG, Global Wealth Management, where she oversaw fund advisory and distribution across North Asia. In this role, she successfully mobilised multi-billion dollar capital flows, introduced innovative fund strategies, and advanced practitioner and investor education initiatives across the region.
Throughout her career, Ms. Ip has been recognised for her ethical leadership, innovation in fund distribution, and commitment to elevating industry standards through effective governance and stakeholder engagement.
