HKIFA Media Event on MPF

Ms. Charlotte Chan and Mr. Philip Tso, co-chairs of the HKIFA Pensions Subcommittee, Mr. Phillip Saran, vice-chairman of the HKIFA Pensions Subcommittee, and Sally Wong, CEO of HKIFA, shared the latest MPF fund performance and updates in a media briefing on Jun 3.

All 25 HKIFA MPF categories reported positive returns for the 12 months ending April 2025 despite recent market volatility. 📈 They emphasised the importance of a long-term investment horizon and maintaining a balanced and diversified portfolio for MPF investments. They also addressed questions from media re the recent downgrade by Moody’s Ratings of US debt.
