Webinar: Project Ensemble and fund tokenisation in Hong Kong

Over 500 attendees had signed up to the recent HKIFA webinar on Project Ensemble and fund tokenisation in Hong Kong.  A record high turnout!

In the first session, George Chou, Chief Fintech Officer at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), and Fion Tsui, Director of Investment Products at Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), presented the latest development of Project Ensemble, regulatory updates, and future directions of fund tokenisation in Hong Kong, demonstrating the regulators’ strong commitment to foster innovation in this space.

This was followed by a panel discussion featuring industry experts: Enoch Tsui (Invesco Asia Pacific), Gary Tiu (OSL), Heidi Cai ( China Asset Management (Hong Kong) ), Mandy Lam (Bank of China (Hong Kong) ), and Tomas AO (HSBC), who shared their use cases, learnings, challenges and considerations of fund tokenization’s practical applications and future potential.
